- 14-year-old Karoline and 15-year-old Robert, who used to live in the same house, meet again in summer camp. A tender love affair develops between the two but the strict daily schedule at camp sets limits to them. Some teachers do not regard the young couple with favor and the other teenagers do not like Robert and Caroline keeping to themselves. Petty intrigues and jealousies are the result. When group leader Benedict, madly in love himself, proposes to rehearse Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' for the final celebration, the camp leader sees the morality at summer camp utterly compromised.
After the great success of the film’s premiere, it became a long runner in children and youth film theaters.
