The young Fynn comes to the court of the king as a stable boy. But there is a mystery about his origin, and from the very first day a has to fulfill a destiny: the liberation of Dornröschen. His uncle August tells him the story of the princess: how she was cursed as a baby by the fate fairy Maruna and pricked her finger on a spindle on her 15th birthday. Fynn wants to free the enchanted king's daughter from the 100-year-old sleep she fell, together with her parents and the court. Even though many arrogant princes have already failed in this task - Fynn is so charmed by the image of the beautiful Myrose that he secretly learns sword fight and is trained as a knight by his uncle, the stable master.
