Marcus survived Theresienstadt and Auschwitz. His survival strategy after war was to forget everything. But his past catches up with him and he wants to be buried as a Jew among others. But to his surprise he first has to prove that he is a Jew. He needs documents or testimonies. To get them, drives to the country of his childhood Hungary with the german turk Gül. On this trip full of tragic and funny experiences Gül and Marcus get to know each other better, but also theirselves. Marcus finally meets somebody in the city of his birth Vác who apparently had been waiting for him for a long time.
